Kawano is from a "Kyushu Hiyama Gym" and he had a Glove Karate title. It is not necessary that he has Karate background.

Possible. I have no idea who he is, and only go on him being listed on K-1 website as having a karate background. But then, what they list does not always have much to do with reality.
Do you know what title it was that he had?

I must go away for 2 weeks to the outback (aka. my parents home). No internet, no cable TV. So Im not going to even get the results until I get back. That kind of sucks. On the other hand, I will be able to watch K-1 Fukuoka as a warm up to watching K-1 Taipei when I get home.

Oh well. Guess I get to go fishing instead.
