Have to support Paul Slowinski, and Nicholas Pettas. Is this being shown on any US network?

That's a pretty weak lineup. Not worth a trip to Hawaii in my opinion but I wish sensei Nicholas the best of luck. Maybe EPSN will show it.

No not the "big bombs" on this one..
But this is not the complete line up,so more fighter to come..
And who vs who is not released yet. The same goes for who is fighting in the tournament, superfights and more. So perhaps they will build the tournamnt stronger =o)
Pettas and Slowinski are good allrounded.
Mighty Mo got his strong punch.
Chalid "DIE FAUST got som fast hands and good kombo`s
Dont know about the rest. Time will show!

In the first round Pettas Shihan will fight against Rick Cheek from "Nor-cal Fighting Alliance" of US. The winner will fight against either Chalid "Die Faust" or Chris West in the second round.

Card complete at K-1 OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Personal I think the tournament could be stronger. Badr Hari in one of the superfights, and Slowinski in another one is okey, but I dont know so much about their opponents.

Thanks for posting, KakatoOtoshi and Steffen!

Seriously though... Butterbean vs Cabbage? Aside from the sillier than usual nicknames, who can expect either of these two to have a real shot at K-1 Champion?

I hope Pettas wins, am I the only one that thinks that there are too little karatekas in K-1??

I'm glad that Teixiera is in K-1 and I hope he wins the WGP :P

I think it would be nice to see more Karateka, and more styles represented, but it is a Kickboxing competition, so we can expect many Kickboxers.

The event is at where my college graduation took place. How funny. Anyway, still looks like a weak card to me. Cabbage? Any guy who calls himself Cabbage deserves a beat down by Butterbean Where's Count Chocula in all of this?

Good luck to Nick this Saturday!

I saw that. He got the stuffing beat out of him. I loved how they also brought the bell with them.

Well at first when K-1 was created it was so that all the styles could compete under one set of rules to determine the champion(1), K-1 is supposed to stand for several different martial arts I don't remember all of them but I remember Kenpo,Kakutogi, kung fu, karate and kickboxing being some of them, I don't know a single Kenpo, Kakutogi or kung fu practitíoner in K-1.
