To bad Feitosa lost that match. Hari was on fire and Feitosa seemed a bit too relaxed which cost him the fight. Myabe he was too confident after his last fight i dunno.
As for Teixeira, i have to congratulate him for the victory, bur with all due respect, his last opponent (Keijiro Maeda) should be expelled from K-1. He just just spends too much time running away from his opponents. This fighters are just warm-up matches for Teixeira. He hasn't fought any top fghter yet and i don't think he's ready yet to do so. There's still a lot of work to do but i can tell he has potential. At least he seemed a lot more improved since his last fight. And i think Takumi Sato also did well although he lost his second match. I guess he's not used to tournaments yet. He sure got pretty tired after his fight against Mitsugu Noda which was a nice fight by the way. You could see a lot of spirit there from both fighters. Osu!

Thanks for that link, SmoothSake. LeBanner looked sharp at the start, but it seems he was struggling with all those up punches. Osu!

Size matters.Fighting someone as huuuuge as Semmy is alway going to be a struggle.Semmy's reach advantage was just too much.

The problem was that Hari is very aggressive and pressured Glaube from the start not allowing him to settle and hence he got put away. Unfortunately his boxing defense isnt that strong, Ewerton may face the same problem if he dosent focus on it. It was great to see him take the tournament. I hope we see Pitchkunov in the final elimination as well, that would be great for kyokushin. |

From what I heard the bulk of his training for this fight was done in the Ichigeki Brazil branch, under Filho.

I felt sad seeing him like that, but Feitosa will rise again, shake it off and go back to work. I believe like many here, that Texeira needs to improve his boxing overall, it takes time, but I'm sure he will pull through.
