Here's the video of Glaube vs Badr:

http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance...-feitosa_sport

Glaube looked gassed... not sure if those body shots took the wind out of him.

Teixeira vs Takahagi:

Nice to see Teixeira work the clinch effectively. His mechanics remind me of Filho when he first starting in K-1.

Osu!

Thanks to KaktoOtoshi, Desert Fox and Kurisu for the info and vids!

Not happy about the Feitosa vs Hari fight. Yes, Hari is getting better technically, but I still dislike him. Feitosa looked flat-footed, and his distancing was eluding him.

Teixeira vs Takahagi was a surprise. Where have all of those great Mae Geri gone? Takahagi was open to them, and I think they are Teixeira's best weapon for covering distance with power. Thoughts?

Feitosa looked bad, bad, bad ... he didn't deliver a single clean strike ! He needs to rethink his training , maybe go to Europe and do some serious kickboxing training.
Teixeira seemed powerfull, but he is not tested yet against real opponents, will see how he is going to do against some real K1 stars in the future.

Why feitosa should "go to Europe and get some serious kickboxing training"?...His trainning in Brazil is not serious? I don't think so! I agree, Europe has some of the greatest kickboxers.....but you have to respect the brazilians fighters! I strongly believe in exchange of experiences and trainning in Neerderlands would be great for him, but believe me our train in Brazil is serious, very serious.
Well...about Teixeira.....he has not faced some of the greatest in K1 yet....but it's ease for you to stay there and say "well...he was not tested against some real adversaries..."....
He is in a new beggining, climbing his way to the top.......I don't know if he will get there....I really hope he does, because I know alll his dedication, but for one thing I'm sure, he got a lot further than most of the fighters by his own.merits..
Who would you suggest as a real challenge for Teixeira?.....you?,....any Romanian fighter?....Who would kick his ass?...How many romanians are IKO1 world champions and K1 fighters?.....
I think it's very ease point out the flaws on the great fighters.....as if you could do much better than them.....

Barzilian Berserker - I think you are taking Kyofighters post a little personally and you need to relax a little. Please dont make this a Brazil Vs Romania issue.

Osu! Congradulations to Teixeira! he's improved his boxing skills clearly, though he still has a long way to go and there is MUCH space for him to improve.
GIVE GLAUBE VS HARI 2 PLEASE, I would bet money that Glaube will take his revenge.

For some people is hard not to take it personal, oh well ...

Anyway, I know that many fighters showed great improvement after training with the dutch kickboxing school for example.
This is about getting better as a fighter, not about countries vs countries.
I love Feitosa and I always watch him fighting, but the reality can be painful sometimes, he sucked yesterday ...let's just hope that he will do better next time.

About the Romanian fighters - I don't know what the future will hold for them in K1 , but based on results in Kyokushin , Boxing and Judo , I think we do pretty good for a very poor and small eastern european ex-communist country.

Bloke,

Sorry, I don't mean to ofend or anything. Maybe I over reacted, but I just coud not take the "go to Europe to get some serious trainning" and the "had no adversaries" commentaries. I think everybody that has the courage to step up in a ring deserves respect.
But anyway, thanks fo your tip.

An Kyofighter, sorry if I over reacted. No intention to offend.

Easy tiger, I don't believe any offense was intended by kyofighter. No one is make light of Brazilian training methods. We all know some of the world's toughest fighters have come from Brazil.Europe has some of the best kickboxers, would it be such a bad idea for Feitosa to be mixing it up with them? I think it can only help, don't you.
As for Teixeira, the guy has raw power but his k-1 technique is still in it's infancy.Given time he will improve but in my opinion he is not ready to face the big guns of k-1 yet. He has been tested at an entry level so to speak but a sterner test for him will come.

no problem, we can all get a little hot headed when we are passionate about something....
it is not an easy task to have a detached view when you are personally involved also...
let's hope that Teixeira will have a great future in K1, if that is what he trully wants....
