Thanks...it's rough, but when fight time comes, and you're thinking to yourself...I feel GREAT....you'll understand why it had to be that hard.

Got to agree on the squats but like to add some verity so I also do squat kicks, squat punches and this one: You squat kick, return to a low squat spring to the left, or right sometimes over someone crouching or a belt held say waist high with a spin if possible, land in a deep squat then repeat. Saw Filhio doing it so hey it's gotta work!

Do you concur with the rule of thumb that 1000 min of training = 1 min on the mat? - I have to say it worked (nearly ) for me last time out but before that, whey before that when I used to compete more regularly I just used to kinda train all the time anyways so it was never a big deal to get 'fighting fit'.

true...I have alot of variety...I have side split squats, hack squats..

all different kinds...but i can't tell all my workouts o everyone....lol
