any tournament in the new jersey/new york area?

Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and wanted to ask if any one had some knowledge about the tournament scene. I live in New Jersey and want to compete in any knockdown, daidojuku, or shidokan matches. I wanted to find a fight in july if any one knows of any. August I leave the 10th and wanted to find something to fight in soon. If any one knows any tournaments throughout the year(besides the sabaki tournament, i am friends with many enshin fighters and have been active in their competition so i know the schedule) I'd be so greatful for some info. The battle at the boardwalk is hosting a multi-discipline martial arts tournament that will feature Kyokushin in it. That will be wildwood, NJ. I think it's October though.

hey guys thanks for the quick responses. I am willing to travel up to 2 or 3 hours. The battle of the boardwalk I wanted to ask who I could talk to about registration n fine points. btw Jerry this is Jay, I just registered. Hope to talk soon about the fight house event.

world oyama invitational is november 3rd. in the bronx, ny.

The Americas Cup, sponsored by IKO1, is held every September in NY city. It usually draws big name fighters from Brazil, Russia, Europe and Japan. It's a good place to try your skills against the big guys. There are women's and kids' and kata competitons as well as kumite.
