Dear Fire,
Sensei Kiyama got married in May 2005.
And he is now the branch chief of Nagoya Central Shibu and runs his own dojo.

I doubt it. His name hasn't appeared among the top finishers in the World Weight Category, or the All-Japan Weight Categories, or the All-Japan Open Weight Tournament since winning the 8th World Tournament.

Dear Boaretto,
I think you must have forgotten Shihan Nakamura Makoto.
And for the return of Kiyama Hitoshi I will put it like this. From some magazines (not really recently) it seems that he is not in top form and looks a bit like Ronaldo (now). But when you study close enough the results of all major japan and international tournaments after the last WT (IKO-Matsui), I simply cannot think of any reasonable and sound explanation for the world title to remain in japan unless Kiyama makes a comeback under the persuasion of japanese shihans. After the last all-japan weight we all agree that the threat to the japanese throne does not simply come from Teixeira and Kurbanov.
