i voted other because i think Kenji Midori has a pretty great jodan mawashi geri, but out of the ones on the poll i would say Ryu Narushima he just seems to get everyone with that mawashi geri of his.

I know this is very old thread, but I just found it. I voted for Narushima, but I'm so ignorant about non-IKO 1 organizations (I'm sorry about it. I love all the organizations). So, honestly, I don't know. Maybe, Sosai Oyama was .

I'm also a Ryu Narushima fan. Given his size, I find it all the more impressive, the way he kicks Jodan Mawashi. I'm also partial to him because of his character though. To me, he epitomizes the correct demeanor of a Karateka. He is very demanding of himself, but not at all arrogant.

I think my physical feature is close to him. I'm only 5'6" (168 cm) and 150 lb-ish (it changes everyday ). As you mentioned, I heard he was really humble.
