Osu!
If you were to join an organization as a BB, I think you could have an individual membership. I'm not sure about Kyu grades though. Osu!

oh ok. thanks...
and how do u join an organization without joining a dojo?( i train at home).... |

Osu!
I think that you may find it difficult to join a group without being vetted by a senior member of that organization. Are there no Dojo available in your area? Osu!

Also, why would you want to be member of an organization, but not of a dojo? I know it might be nice to feel that you're "part of a family", but I just hate to pay fees to something unnescesarry.

Off-topic:
Indeed like taxes, Dent. I'm actually a great fan of taxes, as long as they dont involve me paying them. Luckily, I'm a sly bastard and cunningly evade this by having a low income. What my income is? Whatever the government pays me to study. Where they get the funds for that, you ask? Why, the tax payers of course. I love this little political conundrum that is the socialistic/liberalistic Scandinavian model. <3

Sadly, no. I've thought about making elaborate schemes to make that dream happen, but for now I have to settle for graphic design. Unless I get internship, that will soon end as well.

Just looking at the breakdown of organisations above I wonder if it in any way reflects the global situation.

Sosaļ Oyama's Kyokushin
I am a member the IKO1 group since the death of Sosaļ Oyama,
Like many, I am continuing my training with more enthusiasm, because I want to return to the way and spirit kyokushin without no other considerations. Oyama built "Kyokushin". His legacy for all is “Kyokushin”. There are only one “Kyokushin” : Oyama's “Kyokushin” ! Osu ! Last edited by seienchin; 07-30-2008 at 02:43 PM. Reason: Political content |

Interesting post there KyokushinBARRA, but just a friendly heads up, it might clash with the Kyokushin politics rules on K4L

We all train in the same way.
The choice of belonging to a group has often been a non-choice for the majority of us who have followed our masters. However ethics, good character, moral values ... of kyokushin must be defended. So I am for Kyokushin unity across the hard work that we do all in our dojos respecting the objectives of Sosaļ Oyama. Osu! |
