taboo question - Daniel Schulmann "Tiger"
http://www.nagafighter.com/hof_tiger.asp
I know to even mention his name in any forum related to martial arts can be grounds for immediate consequences as it is common knowledge that a large contingent of his students cause trouble (near riots) at (NAGA) tournaments (let me say that I have a close relative and a former training partner who can vouch for the toughness, work ethic, and skills of SmackGirl World MMA Champion Laura d'Auguste), and that Schulmann lost a lawsuit over his questionable business practices. However, I am curious at the claims he made on his site that are backed by a large organization such as Brian Cimmins' in relevence to the North American Mas Oyama Full-Contact Karate Championships. I thought Willy Williams was champion at the time. Also, who trained him? And by the way, I concede that Kestutis Arbocius is the only karateka that can be dubbed Tiger. Who? In all seriousness, I have never heard of him or his merits in Kyokushin Karate. Not saying that Americans didn't have tough fighters at the time, but American Kyokushin Karate was still pretty green in the 70's and 80's. And it still has yet to leave significant marks on the world stage.

A schulman promo posted on another forum:
http://www.subfighter.com/ftopic-6143-0.html In it, it states that he was the undefeated North-american knockdown champion for 6 years. Anyone know when?
