Question for the Kudoist's
The word Jukucho for Azuma Takashi...,
Is this the word for the head of a juku??
Doesnt have to be answerd by a Kudoista.

Jukucho Azuma is the creator of Daido Juku Kudo. The word Jukucho means much for a Daido Juku practioner. I will explain you the simple way it is formed:
For example Matsui in kyokushinkaiKAN is KANcho. "-cho" is a suffix that follows a certain structure, so it follows JUKU from Daido JUKU and the word that is formed is JUKUcho.

So a "Cho" is the head of an organization?? like kai-CHO Nakamura.
I didnt think about that one and didnt put it together before i asked this question.

In this case yes "leader of a juku".
And all his students are properly referred as "jukusei".

A Juku is sort of a private school.
"Daido" of Daido Juku comes from the buddist saying "Daido Mumon". This is also the name of the Daido Juku official magazine.

"Daido Mumon" (literally translated as "for the big way there is no door")
actually comes from another very long buddist saying which is difficult to translate, but it basically tells people that "to achieve great understanding there is no single but thousands of ways".
