In the dojo in Tokyo, once about every two months, and akido instructor came in for a two hour class, where we were taught falls, joints, and better awareness of how our bodies turn and rotate.
It was pretty much mandatory participation for yudansha, and anyone who was looking to grade at the next grading vapor

i would say KYOKUSHIN+HONTAI YOSHIN RYU JUJUTSU! for the agressive ground work and use of weapons... or KYOKUSHIN+GYOKKO RYU KOSSHIJUTSU for its use of vital pressure points proyections and long range combat

I would have to say Kyokushin and BJJ, in my Kyokushin dojo I am going to bring in a BJJ teacher for those that would like to do MMA.

We just had a Boxing coach come in for about three months, that was a lot of fun. The BJJ guy I am going to bring in will stay with us and offer classes on nights that I am not there.

Sorry I'm so late and I hope this isn't viewed as a resurrection(of the thread) but I think Kyokushin and Judo are perfect together both technically and philosophically.
OSU!

As for my opinion. Judo and kyokushin with one year of boxing (broke the rules I know, but we all need to know the basics of boxing and how to defend head punches)

Kudo ( formerly daido juku ), is the realisation of what many have posted on this thread.
I mention this, as not everyone has heard of Kudo. A search on youtube for 'Kudo Daido Juku' will show you Kudo techniques and methods from Kyokushin, Kickboxing, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. Osu!
