Dear ibuki,
Sorry for the mistake and I promise to pay attention next time. By the way if a Kyokushin/Daido Juku fighter fights in MMA event should we put that into "MMA" or "MMA Karate" category? Is "MMA Karate" just for all the "gi" (dogi) fights? Please advise. OSU! By the way I now realise that R.I.S.E. is actually kickboxing, not MMA. I was wrong from the beginning, sorry.

You are if not the most giving member here, one of the most positive ones. You influence our community very much and gives us very interesting and important information. There is no problem. The topic is moved. There are different reasons to be in the different forums. Let's leave it here for now since it will have an MMA Karate representative, but let it be in the MMA Section of the MMA Karate because the competition is not directly MMA Karate competition such as Kudo, Zendokai, etc. That is why we have podforums and the information will be easily found by the users that use this great forum and the users that ARE going to use it in teh future. I will do my best to give some info, comments and some moderation in this part of the forum so I will keep the information as structured as possible. If any user has a comment please write it in personal message. I am far away from teh idea that a person can make no mistakes, so I am ready to clear those of mine. This was a huge offtopic but some of teh things written here are not for "kakatootoshi-san" but for all of the people in our community. Let's don't leave this the best community. Let us make it better from the best! OSU! |

Dear ibuki,
Thanks for clearing up the difference between MMA and MMA Karate. Please also take credits for your very good moderator work on this forum. Without people contributing, any forum will become boring. Without people moderating, any forum will become a mess. OSU!

Komiyama Daisuke (former WKO) will fight Hidari Zenmaru (J-Network/Reguls Ikebukuro).
This is a 70kg one-match fight and not a part of the tournament. OSU!

Komiyama Daisuke won by an impression decision of 3-0.
Sunehiro won his first two fights by knockout (both hiza geri). But TURBO was a step ahead of him in the final and Sunehiro failed to bring home a prize money of a million yen. ![]() Post-fight comments: TURBO: In restrospect it was a risk of retirement. I just came out of the darkness by winning the WMAF World Super Featherweight title on 5/13. If I lost this time, I would be back to the old days (he did not win for a whole year since last March). Because of this, I do not want to have only defeats in my life anymore. This was the first time I did three fights in one single day. In the final, TURBO defeated Sunehiro with a strategy which centered on low kicks. "I had the feeling of it being effective", said TURBO. In 2R, TURBO advanced with a combo of low kick/one-two, and scored a down with a cross. TURBO, who was ahead on points, started an all-out attack on Sunehiro and he finally won by hantei 3-0. 1st fight of Sunehiro ![]() 2nd fight of Sunehiro ![]() Final ![]() OSU!

It was a close fight.
Maybe I'm biased, being from Suehiros dojo, but Suehiro looked dominant for most of the fight. But getting knocked down in the 2nd round gave turbo a big points lead. Suehiro hammered Turbo in the last round. I thought it might go into an extra, but the judges gave it to Turbo. Sigh! Oh well, I think Suehiro sempai showed again that he's one of the top fighters in RISE. I have no doubt he'll be a champion in the near future. OSU |
