Watched it on PPV last night - I think Sherk did himself a disservice by trying to fight stand up. Almost all of his punches missed!

I watched on PPV also. I was very happy to see Wanderlei get back in the win column after his last couple losses.

Alot of people dislike BJ Penn, but you can't deny that he has made an amazing turnaround from his pudgy, sloppy self a year or so ago. The fights he had with GSP and Hughes were horrible. Granted he did go up in weight to fight them but, he gassed easily and he had lots of extra meat jiggling around.

The Tito vs Machida fight disappointed me, or I should say the decision. I don't believe Machida won every round for a 30-27 decision. I think Dana had some influence over that decision because of Dana and Tito's hate for each other! That's my conspiracy theory.

I believe Machida won but Tito looked better then I have seen him look in years. That knee that Machida delivered was a great knee that almost ended the fight. Machida is a great fighter but I wish he would sometimes "risk it" and try to end a fight instead of going the distance...but, he does win.
Penn is a great fighter, not much else can be said.
Wanderlei looked like the Wanderlei that I remember in his prime while he was fighting in Pride. I hope to see more of this Wanderlei and a rematch between him and Lidell.
I hated seeing Salaverry lose so quick, he's kind a home town(Seattle)favorite for me whenever I see him fight. I trained with his cousin for a few years so I always cheer for him whenever I see him fight.
