Question Salmon or Tuna?
They are both great, but many people worry about the mercury level that Tuna contains. Personaly I don't really care much about it but recently I often have cans of pink salmon.. they are great. It contains a lot of protein and good source of fat! Cans of Red Salmon are way too expensive..
Which do you prefer Tuna or Salmon? osu

FYI, I learned from my semester's worth of environmental studies that eating wild salmon is much safer and more environmental than farmed salmon.

Not necessarily... Here's a great guide for seafood lovers, which lists what seafoods are most sustainable to the environment and are free of contaminants.

Salmon gets my vote just because tinned tuna reminds me of the soggy tuna sandwiches on white bread that my mum used to pack in my school lunches...urgghh! Four hours of soggy tuna sandwiches sitting in my lunchbox in my schoolbag until lunchtime, just the thought makes me feel ill.

I also like sashimi salmon better than sashimi tuna!

For cooked meals I prefer salmon, but the sashimi tuna here in Japan is so good. Nothing compares to a slice of chu toro!

Osu,

Tuna is 1/3rd price of Salmon. So Tuna for me. Also more variety of preparations which gives the eater more options and flavors.

Osu!

Tokujou Toro even! I never thought fresh Salmon was that good until I tried Californian Salmon sushi in New Zealand.

Tuna every time, I don't eat salmon anymore after seeing a TV programme about all the horrible things hanging off Salmon in the pens used to farm them - not to mention all the antibiotics and crap that they feed them - most of them were blind with worms or leeches chewing at them all the time, which is a shame as I prefer the taste of salmon.
