Post Nutrition to improve your Stamina.
First of all, what are your thoughts?

Does your country have one recipe to improve your stamina(fitness)?

I did a bit of research online, but I actually couldn't find many resources on this topic. However I found a few.
- Succinates: An essential part of every living tissue, helps improve stamina and reduce damage to muscle tissue during intense exercise.
- healthy well-balanced diet to improve your tone of muscle, results in better flow of oxygen in your body.

http://www.new-body-news.com/2005%20...ve_Fitness.htm
Quote:
Take your diet in hand. Base your diet on fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts and eliminate the 'dead' foods (anything that is literally dead or cooked to death by frying or over boiling).

Processed products, however good they appear, should be avoided at all costs. Don't think that you are doing the right thing by eating foods that are labeled 'fat free' as they are usually full of sugar.

Remember that your body needs good fats - almonds and avocados. These are often avoided because they have a lot of calories but they're great sources of fats for a healthy body and mind.

Drink lots of water. Apart from being good for you it will help you to feel full.

Don't binge on huge meals but try to eat sensible items regularly throughout the day. Your stomach won't tell you that it's full until twenty minutes after you've finished eating so be aware.

Look at your body and decide where you need to lose the weight. Assess the exact changes you need to make and either buy a book or go to exercise classes that target the right exercises.
Other article:
Quote:
Whether you are running or not you need to eat a healthy well-balanced diet! You can check out www.mypyramid.gov to give you an idea of what and how much you should be eating for your age, gender and activity level!
Eating a healthy diet that includes all of the food groups, eating balanced meals throughout the day and NOT skipping meals, keeping yourself well-hydrated, getting plenty of sleep and consistent training should help you to improve your stamina.

In Japan, "Garlic" is meant to boost up your stamina.

A banana is used habitually to an athlete to supply energy for a long time.
What is good for nutrition and invigoration asparagus (aspartic acid of asparagus is used for a health drink).
I include the mucin which a yam and an okra called "an eel of a mountain" do glucide catabolic enzyme amylase and the Hitoshi bowels, and make protein absorption better and raise energy use efficiency.
Of course it is important to consume an electrolyte lost in protein and calcium, sweat to make a body besides.

Oh yes. What I meant was "Liver nira itame = Reba-Nira Itame". I wasn't too big fan of the meat but yer I wouldn't mind having it. Much better than what i can cook.

probably the best food to develop stamina is fillet of intervals, or sweet and sour jogging...

and Fire, I'd steer clear of the veggie propaganda sites if it was me...they often contain blatantly false statements...just saying

Liver is kind of a hard pill to swallow---I don't enjoy it that much, but have been known to eat a plate or two from time to time.

Seriously not a liver fan either...the smell makes me ever so slightly ill, but...it is ridiculously good for you...

old school supps to the rescue: you can get all the nutritional advantages of eating liver by taking dessicated liver...downside is that it smells vaguely like fish food...

whole wheat bread, wheat pasta, brown rice, sweet potatoes, yams

anything white is not as good for you. like white rice, whie bread, white potatoes so you should replace it with the above.

I read this from Ross Enamit. He's a really damn good boxing trainer, if any of you have his guides and tutorials, you'll know what im talking about.

http://www.rossboxing.com/

check out some of his videos. it's really impressive stuff.

I was looking up information on kiwifruit and I read something that reminded me of this thread. Here it is:

From: whfoods.org (the world's healthiest foods.org)
WHFoods: Kiwifruit

Quote:
Kiwifruit

Packed with more vitamin C than an equivalent amount of orange, the bright green flesh of the kiwifruit speckled with tiny black seeds adds a dramatic tropical flair to any fruit salad. California kiwifruit is available November through May, while the New Zealand crop hits the market June through October making fresh kiwis available year round.

Fiber for Blood Sugar Control Plus Cardiovascular and Colon Health

Our food ranking system also qualified kiwifruit as a very good source of dietary fiber. The fiber in kiwifruit has also been shown to be useful for a number of conditions. Researchers have found that diets that contain plenty of fiber can reduce high cholesterol levels, which may reduce the risk of heart disease and heart attack. Fiber is also good for binding and removing toxins from the colon, which is helpful for preventing colon cancer. In addition, fiber-rich foods, like kiwifruit, are good for keeping the blood sugar levels of diabetic patients under control.

Kiwifruit also passed our food ranking test as a good source of the minerals potassium, magnesium, copper and phosphorous.

Protection against Asthma

Eating vitamin C-rich fruit such as kiwi may confer a significant protective effect against respiratory symptoms associated with asthma such as wheezing.

A study published in Thorax that followed over 18,000 children aged 6-7 years living in Central and Northern Italy found that those eating the most citrus and kiwifruit (5-7 servings per week) had 44% less incidence of wheezing compared to children eating the least (less than once a week). Shortness of breath was reduced by 32%, severe wheeze by 41%, night time cough by 27%, chronic cough by 25%, and runny nose by 28%.

Children who had asthma when the study began appeared to benefit the most, and protective effects were evident even among children who ate fruit only once or twice a week.

It wont help to improve your stamina, but it may help to maintain it.

Osu

stamina
osu,

the only thing is....training!

about food/nutriotion there are so much things, which play a role for stamina.

believe one thing: with water or kiwi nobody wins a big championship... ;-)

ask a professional runner or cyclist (mountain biker) for endurance training and nutrition. one side.
the other side ask a bodybulider or weight lifter for his nutrition.
afterwards take the best for you and test..test...test...

a favourite of some guys: high potency of bcaa´s...and guarana.

train hard and feel good.

OSU!
