Becks Alc Free
Booze and I are a bit like electricity and water... Best kept apart for predictable functionality and safety. Haven't had a drink in three years now, but occasionally sit down to a Becks non-alcoholic beer

Not a big drinker here, but a nice cold beer with friends every now and then is a wonderful thing. Its impossible to measure the benefits that comes from taking the time to sit down with friends and enjoy conversation over a beer - but I know the benefits are great.

Besides, we usually end up talking about training anyway!

Osu,

I love most Beer and experiment with new types quite often. However I usually drink a Beer here in Australia called Hahn Super Dry.

However if it wasnt so expensive I'd live on Kirin Ichiban, Yebisu and Asahi Superdry. I also enjoy Becks and other Dutch brews.

Mmmm now im thirsty

I think this is the best post in the history of K4L.
If the mods can start a poll where we can vote for the best post...this should be number 1.

Yes the great myth about Aussies... nobody drinks Fosters in Australia! (At least no one I've met...)

Osu!

For some reason there is a segment of the Aussie populace that enjoys VB. It is as foreign to me as the idea of my vote counting for anything.

Maybe at the Chain stores but I bet if you go to a real Liquor store you will find Aussie beer. I can get a few different ones here in Tucson and my friend who was from Aussie was quite pleased.

While we're talking about beer does anyone have a favourite beer ad?

One of my favourites is still the Carlton "Big Ad".

In actual fact you're hard pressed to find anywhere that sells Fosters here. It's a bit like what ive heard about Corona's in Mexico.... Sure they make it, but damned if they'll drink it themselves

That big ad was a stunner, and a great concept. Imagine selling it at the executive meeting though. "You want to spend HOW much on WHAT?!"

I've been drinking quite a lot of beer since I came to China. You get a 600+ ml. bottle for 30-80 eurocents here so that doesn't really help. Chinese beer like Tsingtao or Harbin is very light and tastes great with food! Loads of Budweiser, Suntory and Heineken to be found here as well.

The only time I've even seen the Fosters logo back in Oz is on the cars at the Melbourne Grand Prix! Even that is not true anymore...

I imagine it started like...

"Now you see - we get a whole bunch of blokes charging each other in a field, like that movie with them Hobbits..."

I really really love beer
Once i start drinking it i can't stop until i hit the floor and when i get back up i want some more, that and all types of sillyness occurs.
I guess thats why I don't drink beer anymore.
