Funny; I've been on a modifed diet like this now for a week, but with me it's eating something every other hour and it appears working in that 1) I always have enough energy for training and 2) I've lost some pounds.
Sad thing is, I didn't start that diet voluntarily; I had a stomach flu, plus some stress in the last few weeks that left my stomach really, really sensible.
However, I found just eat a small portion, in enough time in between, I can get away with eating without stomach cramps and throwing up. Hopefully it vanishes in the next few weeks since I really crave a biiiiig lunch
So generally, I got about two fixpoints a day, breakfast and dinner since my stomach handels them somehow better (my bet lies on sport which I normally do before both), so they have bigger portions, but else, I get by eating fruit, small bread stuff, nuts etc. and it's working!
I even checked with a nutritioncoach and it seems, I can get away with eating like that; somehow I fullfill my calorie-needs and the only concern is calcium since I'm lactose-intolerant, I can't eat cheese like I used to

But with supplements it should be okay...
Sorry for the long post, I was just happy coming from the doctor that I'm still healthy as a horse, even though I don't eat as much as I used to....
