I was in Italy for the game against Australia - sorry but it was never a penalty. That being said it was great to be in Italy for the Quarter and semifinal too. Just came home the day before the final - would have liked to stay out there for that - i'd say the celebrations were amazing.

oh, c`mon, that wasn´t a haedbutt that was a little peting on materazzis chest, this guy is famous for faking fouls.
and by the way, i didnt mean the game against france, i meant that against germany, italian television send videos to the fifa executional comitee of defensiv midfielder Thorsten Frings (one of our best players) where he´s supposed to hit an argentiniuan player in the face, but EVEN the Argentinian said there were nothing, bad camera angle...

Agreed, that penalty was a joke, of course Australia would have crushed them too easy in extended time.

this incident with thorsten frings where they made a ruckus to suspend him from playing was really unsportsmanlike!!

This past WC was very entertaining. It is too bad my Japanese side didn't have a good showing. Very hard to watch them struggle against teams they should have beat (Australia and Croatia). Italy, France, Argentina, and Brazil were great to watch. I'm already looking forward to the next WC!
