contrary to what people think, Boxing is good self-defense. the sweet science. they are masters of punching, timing and distance.

well i think boxing can be used as self defense or any style or martial infact but all depends on the practitioner and how devoted and how good he uses it osu!!!!

Boxing is very important for street fighting. In my view if you want to become a good and well rounded fighter you need boxing skills.

My point exactly. Last night i went to the GFC that was held here in Ohio. It was like GJJ-Ohio vs. GJJ-Brazil. There were some good fights. i just felt that alot of the fighters needed more boxing skills. but also in that respect...i feel that the fighter has to be a real boxer first and then go learn BJJ.
