Flying over to Japan on the 12th!
I am flying back to Japan on the 12th!!
Summer vacation and a chance to spend time with my wife!! So, if anyone has any requests...things that they are dying for, drop me a pm and I will see what I can do!! (We will be in Okinawa on the beach for about half my trip!) If I can't get something bought, or ordered or whatever, i will be in Japan again at the end of August on a business trip...for about 10 days or so... vapor

Zurui! I wish I could go back to the motherland and to Okinawa no less! You will have an awesome time eating goya chanpuru and drinking Orion beer.
  Be sure to walk into a traditional Okinawa karate dojo. No omiyage requests from me. My gf is going back in August for a wedding so she'll do all my Ichigeki shopping. Thanks anyway!

I don't suppose you'll be passing through Yokohama...? That's where I live and train. =D
Are you going to go back to train at your old dojo?

I don't know if I will be in Yokohama....but do you want me to bring you anything from the States? A taco bell mix kit ??? Some Gaterade powder?? I can send it down to you by Sagawa or Yamato with no problems!!
If you are in Yokohama, you are close enough to head over to Costco to get your fix though!! I don't know if I will train at the dojo...I will stop in, that is for sure! I think my wife will have my days and evenings planned out quite effectively!! And none of those plans will have time for bruising knuckles and shouting OSU at the Asakusa dojo!! vapor

That's really sweet of you to offer, but I'm ok for now. (And I'm visiting the US and Canada next month, so I can stock up then. ;D)

It is coming home for me, really.....I mean it really is.
I lived in Japan for 13 years---until earlier this year, when I needed to relocate for the new job....wife is there....house there.....so it is almost like life here in NY is the vacation!! vapor

Ok, I am back in the USA now....I will post some pics of things that I took while I was there....
First several shots--- Within the Ichigeki Plaza, there is a gift/goods shop, as well as the cafe on the first floor (In Ebisu). Well, in the shop they have a showcase with items that are NOT for sale...     vapor

WOW! Great pictures! If you were 18 years younger than me.. it would be like living vicariously through my son or something like that.
But then that would make him 8... and not in japan alone. Anyways great pictures... i'm green with envy
