![]() How can they put my local toll road up 50% when we are in a recession? Especially when they said it would be abolished about 10 years ago once it had been paid for - so they just changed it to a congestion/ environmental charge (TAX! it's a TAX call it a &*@% TAX!)Told you I'd be on here a lot ![]()

Why is it that continued overspending by these jokers is considered ok, but a little mob violence to tar-and-feather them is considered inappropriate? Because the same guys who can't balance the chequebook make the laws regarding their safety. (Which is why really civilized countries have occasional coups... )Unfortunately, I have learned something that seems to be consistent globally. A certain segment of any given population will confuse politeness for weakness. Teaching them the difference can be somewhat unpleasant, but it is necessary. ![]() Osu!

OSU Dent, this seems to me becoming the majority, its making me question the direction of my training - I got less hassle when I was a good few stone heavier even though I was a lot less capable as a fighter - may be as the only thing these numb skulls understand is the potential for pain we all need to be supersizin' ![]()

Here's another good one.... Management had me start a project to qualify manufacture of one of our products on a different production platform, in order to free up capacity on the existing one for another product. Went through months and months of BS tests, re-runs, arguing with the central board, etc... but it dragged out so long that it finally got to the point where the extra capacity was no longer needed. The project was about 95% complete, but there was just no need to finish it. I kept it on my "to do" list to complete the open items just so we could go to it again later if we needed it but part of the problem was that some of the original signed test documents had gone missing (the validation engineer managing the documents ended up leaving the company, and some of her document binders got misplaced when she left). So finally the board says "why don't we just deny this project so we can get it off the books?" Ok - I thought this sounded like a great idea. Then they tell me to turn in all the document binders or they can't close it out. AAARRRRGGGHHH!

Rough week there, H! ![]() Had a word with the painter, and he told me that he and the wife had been ill the whole week. Far more believable if I didn't know he was out partying at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse... ![]() Osu!

Dang funny image that, Ksan! ![]() Although, after schooling the bull terrier, he's probably strutting along! ![]() On a griping note: AAAARRRGGHHH!!!! The electrician has fouled up well enough that he's killed the power to the garage doors. With the doors closed. (If he was inside, it would be ok, because I'd just let him starve to death. He's also killed all the upstairs lights too.)So, how do you get into a garage with garage doors that have no power? By hiring a locksmith to open a side door that has no keys... And when can we expect him...?Osu!
