Shin-ai-do karate
SHIN - AI - DO KARATE was created in 1984-86 by ALEKSANDER SZURMIEJ systematized this style of fight with many instructors .This system take what is the best in GOJU-RYU and Kyokushin alsow Sabaki , Kawaishi and Throws.
Name SHIN - AI - DO was used for first time in 1989 on seminary in Belorussian minsk . SHIN - AI - DO KARATE It's real Martial Art.Allowing Forceful employment of techniks. Last edited by shinaido; 12-26-2006 at 09:56 AM.

Hello
Shin-ai-do karate is more like Ashihara karate but have more joint Lever(i dont knowits correct name in english) like kotegaeshi, ikkio.We have trows. We starts in knock down turnamets with Kyokushin,Enshin,Ashihara,Oyama Karate,Seido.Our Master is Aleksander Szurmiejhe have 4 dan in Kyokushin now hi have 6 dan. He was in Russian Army he have contacts with japan masters, from Go ju ryu ank Kyokushinkai. But he make his own way of karate do, and that we have shin ai do karate.This is very small organization,have few dojos in Poland, Belarussia,ther is i think one in US, next year it will be i UK. Im very happy that i find this group,i see you have information about styls of karate that i search  ,and i see taht is respect to others styles, i like that, becouse in my country every body fight" my style i s better then yours" but i dont know why.One more thing Sorry if i make mystakes , im not good in English.

Interesting. I can't really tell which style it resembles most, though. Shin-Ai-Do has throws, like Ashihara and Enshin, but the kata looks too traditional. I can tell that the basic principle is to waste as little energy as possible, and to use the force of the opponent against him. Some of the throws even looks like Aikido to me.
Some of the sabaki-methods (the throws and takedowns primarilly) looks really good. I think I will try to implement some of these techniques in my repertoir. One question: Do you have any pure Shin-Ai-Do tournaments? If yes, what is the basic rules? I think I spotted some submission in there, does the fight continue on the ground? Keep up the good work!

no we dont have pure Shin ai do turnaments,
 but we fight in Kyokushin, Shidokan,Judo,Seido, ju jitsu ,Kikboxing turnaments.Yes we fight on the ground  Basic for Shin -ai -do was Goju Ryu and Kyokushinkai, then it wos mixed with diferent styles. After next summer will be instructional movie so if you want give me adress and i'll send you dvd. alsow i have hope to open group in UK but it take some time  about Kata yes we have traditional Kyokushin kata , and 4 Kihon Shin-ai-do kata they are very fast and modern. Ah, I see. It looks very promising nonetheless. I hope to see more Shin-Ai-Do. I don't know much about Goju-Ryu, other than it is the traditional style Kyokushin derives from.

The instructional video sounds very interesting as a way to showcase the different aspects of Shin-ai-do! Please let us know how the progress comes along with the development.

Hi can You write something more about Shihan Takumi Higashidani.
I know he start in Goju Ryu then Kyokushinkai and Ashihara do you have any links to Kobukan website? Best regards
