Satoru Sayama?

Does Shodai Tiger Mask Satoru Sayama have a background in a Full-Contact Karate like Kyokushin? I know he found SHOOTO and Seikendo but is his background solely Wrestling, CAMBO, and "Kickboxing"? Same question in regards to Akira Maeda since he was able to get the Bitsadzse brothers of Georgia to do his RINGS shows in the early 90s.

I'm not sure if they're graduated in Judo. But yeah, they're mostly famous because of Wrestling and Kickboxing, RINGS and Shooto.


By the way, never heard again from the Bitsadze brothers. What's up with them?

What about his Seiken Kaikan proteges Kozo Urita and Yuji Sakuragi? They both started at with Kyokushin right? Also do Seikendo rules allow elbows?

Dear Decadent,
You are right about Sakuragi Yuji. He won a few regional tournaments when he was a student. But I do not think Urita Koza has Kyokushin background.
