I hope to see Iwai Natsumi back this year.
She was under a lot of pressure before last year's world tournament and seems to have disappeared after losing to Ewa Polikowska. Japan really needs her to stand up against foreign fighters in the most competitive (lightweight) category of women's karate. Gambatte, Sensei Iwai! OSU!

I think we have a couple people from our dojo going to participate.
Beside the poster in the dojo, there is a list of those sempai who are travelling from Tokyo to be there. I will have to take a look at the list again. vapor |

I should have born in Japan or at least got an opportunity to be there...lol...so how many of you went for the festival??and how was it??please do share what all happened in the event and all...OSU

I am not sure if this has been posted before.
Just the results for ladies under 50kg 1st: Tachigawa Megumi 2nd: Minami Junko 3rd: Shimada Satomi under 55kg 1st: Kimura Miyoko 2nd: Kidachi Yuki (same person as last year's Koami Yuki, as she is now using the same family name with Sensei Kidachi Hiroyuki) 3rd: Ito Kanze 4th: Murakami Shizuka over 55kg 1st: Osugi Hyakka 2nd: Taniyama Kanako (Seidokaikan) 3rd: Tomita Megumi 4th: Narita Yoko OSU!
