4/15 Sato Juku International Tournament 2007
On 4/15, The 2nd “Global Point and KO International Karate Tournament”, organized by The International Point and KO Association, will be held in The Yoyogi 2nd Stadium in Tokyo.

The tournament is backed up by The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for the first time. “The 3rd All-Japan Youth Karate Tournament” will be on 4/14, which is followed by “The 22nd Point and KO Karate Tournament” and “The 2nd Global Point and KO International Karate Tournament” on the following day.

It is hoped that children from the whole country can be fighting under the same set of rules all the way through regional and prefectural preliminaries. The “Koshien of Karate is what everyone is dreaming for. (Koshien refers to a very prestigious youth baseball tournament in Japan).

In the international tournament, competitors include Paul, a direct student of Shihan William Oliver. Brasilian champions, includingマルセロ(Marcelo?)、エンリコ(Erinco?) and オリベイラ(Oliveira?), will also be fighting. Will Onishi Kentato, the first world champion and Oue Tadanobu, the reigning All-Japan champion, be able to keep the titles in Japan?

OSU!

OSU! I think it's great how Sato Juku included the "William Oliver Cup" as an award at this tournament. That shows alot of class on their part and respect for this fallen Kyokushin(also Seido Juku) warrior who died tragically of a heart attack while training in his New York Dojo 2 years ago. A big OSU! to Mr. Katsuaki Sato and wishing him much continued success in all his future endeavors. OSU!

Shihan Oliver was invited as a guest to the 1st WT of Sato Juku (Shihan Kishi Nobuyuki, Shihan Admeir da Costa and Shihan Nicholas Pettas were there I think) but unfortunately he could not make it.

Dear Miguel,
Thanks for the language support! I have just added their appropriate names.

OSU!
