I know for sure a number of Swedish fighters are going, both male and female. Also heard that some Dutch WKO fighters also might participate.

I was there in 2005 and it was a well organized tournament. Sensei Steinmann is a great guy that treats everyone with respect and is always very friendly.

osu,

i saw it on the schedule. collin, erkelenz and olson from sweden. haverkamp, kelderman and renkens from holland.

at this time there are about 60 fighters, maybe more after the deathline. and yes, you are right. sensei steinmann presented 2005 a well organised tournament. only the band was to loud for older guys like me.

I saw that Stefan Hofer is fighting inthe heavy weight this year. Too bad, I really would liketo see Collin fight him again as he was robbed in 2005.

this is really true! i agree to you. jimmie, roberto proost from belgium and the german girl heike lomer had a bad decision on their fights. hope this year it will be better.
i have heard there will be only refs from swiss shinkyokushin organisation.

may the best man (girl) win.

Stefan Hofer? Yes thatīs a heavy weight for sure!

I saw him in the tournament in 2005! Jimmie Collin? Heīs a real beast! An exelent fighter indeed. Heīs team mate Andrea Almen beat me in the first round at that tournament. He was also very good!

roberto? yes thats one off the two fighters who is going from my dojo. To bad I canīt fight there. But Iīm going as a spectator!

I want to see Jonathan Tineo vs Hofer! (Tineo won the last time in 2005 heavy weight)

Jonathan Tineo vs Stefan Hofer - That can be a great fight. Tineo really impressed me in 2005!

osu.

watch the list. there are some new fighters. lithuanian pavilionis will be there. very able fighter. i think hofer must be very strong to win. jonathan is a very strong fighter. world champion of iko3, now kyokushin union. he won a international openweight tournament this year, within strong fighters.

but at this time i donīt know if he participate. i have heard, there should be no participants from other japanese kyokushin organisations...

donīt know what happend, cause there are fighters from ifk, ashihara and shito-ryu (i think). we will see...

iīm looking forward to this tournament.

OSU!

That would be very low of them! (IF that’s true) That is the kind of things I dislikes! That kind of things bring the level of Kyokushin lower and lower. They use to be a well organised and democratic organisation and as a member you may participate in other tournaments and every other style were allowed to join their tournaments. I hope it’s just a rumour. We are also going and we are member off the IFK and the Union. So I guess its just a rumour. If they don’t allow Tineo for example, what is the champion worth? That’s just the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. The formal champion is not allowed anymore cause he is from another organisation! You can better create a tournament in your own dojo and create your own champion! Champions must fight hard and fair for there title, they shouldn’t be made by some an organisation.

iīm looking forward to this tournament.

dear sublimo,

hope this would be roumor, too. you are right.

but sometimes itīs impossible to create one champion... the time will bring it. we should stop, because itīs more and more politics...

i think everything is ok, cause there are many fighters from other organisations and styles are listed.

see you at swiss open.

I think most organisations are really open, tournament wise, last couple of years, especially on the higher levelled tournaments (i can understand when the novice class tournaments are being kept closed to other organisations)

I think its already going into the right direction.

Yes, I'll fight in middle-weight, though my expectation is low when I see the list...
Anyway, I wish you all the best for your fights

I know, this is absolutely not the right mindset , but after the strings of my fights I've had, I'll be happy when I end one full round completely conscious. Winning at this tournament isn't the priority here - it would be cool though - but to show myself that I'm able to hold my ground.
