Dear feels,
Komiyama left WKO long ago. He is now with Hokuto Kaikan which is directed by his father. He has done two kickboxing fights in R.I.S.E. and I do not think he is going back to Karate.

Some thoughts on the Japanese team for the world tournament.
I think in this team there is a heavy reliance on veteran fighters (both experience and age) and also people who do not have much experience in world tournament. And sincerely there is a lack of really large-sized fighters to fend off the gaijins. I think the Japanese team is facing a grave situation in this world tournament.

As a side note. The Japanese team of IKO-1 (so far only five guys have been selected) is not having a good prospect either. I hope this is not a year in which the world titles of both IKO-1 and WKO are all taken by gaijin.

You do have a point that there are no japanese fighters that can match the size of for instance Imbras or Teixiera. However I do think that their experience and spirit will match and outrate the non japanese fighters and I see Norishika Tsukamoto as a cadidate for the (WKO) champion title. But honestly, there is no way anyone or anything but injuries can stop Valeri Dimitrov from becoming the world champion.
