Osu Alan,

9 fighters went over to compete there i dont know how they did i shall find out at the next squad. Im suprised they didnt show up anywhere in the medals?! Some of them looked really promising. 2 of the male fighters are the World Cup (IKO 3) Champions from last years event in Australia!!

Osu Lucy,

I was wondering the same thing about the BKK squad... keep us posted when you know more.... (is Shihan Pickthal still knockdown coach/trainer?)

Osu Ksan,

Yes Shihan David Pickthall is still coach. I shall investigate and find out how the tournament went for the BKK team this weekend.

Ok few more results, the 3rd places were joint:

Male LW
3RD Emil Jafarov (Russia, Kekusinkan)

Male MW
3RD Suleiman Kosumov (Russia, Kekusinkan)

Male HW
3RD Dmitry Alexandrov (Ukraine)

Female LW
3RD Svetlana Berezova (Russia, Kemerovo A. Aschepkov)

Female HW
3RD Kelly Balmer (Great Britain)

Tameshiwari was won by Wai Chung from Great Britain.

Well there's 2 trophies for others in the kumite besides Russia lol! But of course being the host nation they were allowed upto 20 competitors, 18 in the top positions...thats damn near unbeatable.
