Unfortunately a Seido Kaikan fighter Sawada loses in a Semi-semi Final. By watching one of his fights on a DVD he is pretty big for a Japanese fighter. He is not the best technical fighter but has got lots of guts and potential. Hopefully he will be recommended for the upcoming world open. Osu.

Dear Lanky Sempai,
You mean Sempai Terashima? He was beaten by Osaki by 5-0 in the semi-finals (so it makes him like 7th?). OSU!

Bloke, no I wasn't at the tournament. I was reading results in a Japanese guestbook. Osu.

It appears that there will be another regional tournament(Kanto Taikai) in 3 weeks in which Zenjuro Mori will be entering for the last chance to the World tournament.

Dear hoha-chan,
Would you mind giving me the name of your dojo (with names of fighters will be even better)? I will try my best to tell you what I know. There are near 300 fighters in the event so I am afraid I cannot give you a full-draw/results (and they do not have an online version). OSU!

Dear hoha-chan,
This is what I know and please forgive me for the simplicity. Lightweight: Kawano Sempai did not pass round two. Middleweight: Yamada Sempai did not pass round two. Kuwamura Sempai had a bye in round one and in round two he lost to a nidan from Hokuhokai. Super heavyweight: I think Higuchi Sempai defeated a brown belt (the winner of a recent Rensei Taikai in Ibaraki) in round one but lost to Sawada Hideo from Seidokaikan (5th place in 37th All-Japan) in the next round. I do not see Ono Sempai from Kyoto. And I hope Uchida Sempai will be in his best form in this Sekai Takai and stand up against fighters from all over the world. OSU!
