Dear buckette,
On 23rd there were only kid fights, adult's are on 24th. There were too many categories for kids so I am not posting them all, but I can tell you that in girl's high school heavyweight, 2nd and 3rd places are occuiped by Australian fighters Caitlyn Eales and Peyawadee Petts. The champion of this category is Masuyama Airi, who was the 2nd place in middleweight of Shinkyokushinkai All-Japan Weight for this year and the last. And in boy's high school heavyweight (1st year), Kevin Wiklund from Sweden got 3rd place. These are all the gaijin names I see in the kid's section. OSU!

Wow, thanks for the info kakatootoshi. I saw Caitlyn Eales and Peyawadee Petts fight in the NZ Nationals last year, where they fought for 1st and 2nd place in the colts division. They have been training together for many years and showed great spirit having to fight each other. I fought Masuyama Airi in Nagoya last November, needless to say she beat me 1st round. Very strong, smart spirited fighter. It's nice to see some familiar names in the placings.
Do you know if there is a womens event on today? I don't really know any of the details of this tournament, so i really appreciate any updates/results you post. Thank you! Osu |

Dear buckette,
Sorry I do not think there is a women's cateogry (probably because this is a special selection tournament for the rengokai cup next year) Lightweight 1st Oyatomari Toru (Okinawa) 2nd Ishikawa Eisaku (Chubu) 3rd Nishimori Shoshin (Gidokaikan) Middleweight 1st Miyagi Kenji (Okinawa) 2nd Inoue Tadashi (Jonan) 3rd Onoe Jirou (Kagawa) Heavyweight 1st Teraura Katsutoshi (Kansai) 2nd Shimajiri Masaaki (Okinawa) 3rd Kouketsu Takuma (Chubu) The only gaijin that made it to the last 8 was Sempai Jason Perkinson (4th place in heavyweight). OSU!
