[Kyokushin-Union] 2nd kyokushin Union Cup World Karate Championship
On 19-20 of January, there will be the 2nd kyokushin Union Cup World Karate Championship, of All Japan kyokushin Union...

No, I don't know. Maybe it's still early to do some countings...I can know you the particular later, if you want. I know that many countries are joining in to All Japan Kyokushin Union, and you must to considerer that it's a World Competition.
The tournament will be in Okinawa therefore it will be very particular (also in prices terms  ) because how you say, Okinawa is the mother of karate and Sosai mas Oyama, once a time, said that he would like to hold a Kyokushin tournament there.

Anyone any idea why the weight divisions are a little different (i.e each Category is 2.5kg less than the norm.)?

Sincerely I don't know. It's quite a problem for a fighter who fight in 70 kg category (lightweight)...if you understand

I do understand - I used to fight at lightweight (many years ago) and I was 69.5 kg so under their rules I would be in the middleweights!!

Three of our dojo goes to fight. One is already there training with the Japanese squad for 6 month. The other two are training here in our dojo. Unortunatly I may not go this year... The weight classes? Tssss weird very weird!

What message are you getting when you try to open it?
It may be possible that since there are Japanese characters inside the pdf's , that it may require you to download (for free) the Japanese Language packs, so that Adobe knows how to handle the file... vapor
