Calling all old-skool bookworms - 3rd World Open.

Hey guys, Im in the midst of doing some very, very, very important personal research. (The result of which I will tell you guys later)

Unfortunately the lack of ability to read the language or to be sufficiently versed in every aspect of detail there is, has put me at a loss.


To the best of my knowledge in the 1983 World Open tournament there was NO Tameshiwari award given.

Now, if im wrong here, could someone please correct me. >_<

On the other hand, if you do happen to know who it was and where the info came from i'd be hugely, hugely appreciative.

Nope nope 1983.

Spirit is correct - for some reason it wasnt held until January 1984 and then reverted back to November 1987.

Never question the old mind, it is fuzzy but when one lives through it, it remembers... though it takes a while to bring it back up.
