IFK Yamburg Cup, Russia
This weekend we sent a team of 4 fighters to compete in the Yamburg Cup from Great Britain.
Mens Lightweight 3rd Darren Stringer Mens Middleweight 3rd Wai Cheung Also fighting were Chris Odunukan competiting in the HW and Alan Shnawa LW who unfortunately didnt make it past the early rounds. Great results from a tough competition! Does anyone have anymore results?

The Russian team was the Yamburg squad which is sponsored by the Gas Company that paid for the event. It had several previous British Champions and other international winners.
There was 12 countries taking part mainly IFK but the Krygizstan team were Shinkyokushin and one of the fighters was in a IKO1 ichi geki gi. I will try and put more info on tomorrow |

Roman Uzunyan KOed Mark Goodwin of Wales on the 3rd IFK WT in 2005 at Crystal Palace but I think you are talking about one at the British Open in 2006 and that was Farid Kasomuv.
