6/22 Shinkyokushinkai All-Kanto
   Yasumoto Gaku, who was the winning favorite of the tournament, pulled out due to injuries sustained from the weight tournament. The champion of last year, Sam Gilbert, was defeated by a young fighter Kawabata from Chiba Minami Shibu. Kawabata defeated a dojo mate of Yasumoto Gaku and became the champion of the tournament. OSU!

I was there!!! It was AWESOME. A real thrilling (but long) day.
