This is my first post...OSU!
they wont let me send a picture, my apologies for no image. Shuseki Shihan William Oliver (1952-2004) Originally started in Kyokushin Karate with then Shihan Tadashi Nakamura at the age of 15. He then followed Shihan Nakamura, now Kaicho Nakamura into The World Seido Juku Karate Organization in 1976. In 2001, he, along with other higher ranked black belts within the organization (Shihan Monte Allen, Shihan Leighton Barker, and Kyoshi Paul Sookdar) founded Kenshikai Kan Karate Assoc. In 2004 he sadly passed while sleeping in his dojo to prepare for a morning class. Shuseki Shihan Oliver was a world reknown champion in both knockdown and point fighting, also a kata grand champion. He was a star in the movie "Fighting Black Kings", along with others such as frank clark, willlie williams, and Charles Martin (Shuseki Shihan Charles Martin now of Seido Karate. He is Kaicho Nakamura's highest ranking student). To mention all of Shuseki Shihan Oliver's accomplishiments would take forever. I just think he belongs on this list. He is missed deeply by all of his family and students. I am one of them, I began my training with him at age 7, am now 22. OSU! Last edited by swollen knuckles; 07-03-2007 at 02:08 AM. |

I really find that kenji Midrori illustrates the best the spirit of kyokushin. He succeed to defeat guys twice as big as him by his supersonic mawashis and his incredible technique
He really deserved his world title in 1991 |
