Shihan Howard Collins was the first to do the 100 man kumite compulsorily in one day. Hanshi Steve Arneil did his all in one day first.

shihan collins is a british legend, if you look at any of the footage of the day including some of the original japanese videos he looks like a character from "the sweeney"..which for those of you who have never seen it was a police series in the 70`s

I've got the DVD - I know what you mean. He's signing an autograph for a youngster but somehow looks like he's writing him a ticket. Maybe it's his Police Service .... A recent visitor spoke to me about him after going to his Dojo - he was very impressed! Gary
