massive isami gi

Just recieved my new isami gi size 7 but it is huge just wondering if people could give me some ideas on how to shrink it down properly as i have been told that this is what is done all help is welcome thank you .I'm really worried about wrecking it

Bingo - just wasj it staright away as you normally would - when I got my first one (many many years ago) it shrank at least 4 inches in the first wash (as far as I can recall).

A gi shrinks a lot when you wash and dry it. My first gi ever also was way too big, washed it at 90° and after that it fitted perfectly

yeah go with the v. hot wash - this caught me out last year too the last one I brought before that was 20 years ago, that only needed to shrink a few inches but the new ones are mahusive and need a hard boil down, but man they fit well once sorted.
