there aren't many who can give fedor a challenge at the moment anyway.

At least Strikeforce can open the door to new fighters. And if M1 can be a part of that, so much the better.

Randleman vs Fedor II ,I want to se some nasty throws again
Hm.. I agree with you,is not many to line up..
I will like to se Fabricio Verdum VS Fedor, but it is possible that It`s going to be a replay of Fedor vs Nogueira fights..
Time will tell who`s the "lucky" one

The only good thing about Strikeforce events to me is some of the female fighters and that if you have showtime you aren't paying $55 USD to watch every event However, for the men's fighters it's just not as entertaining as UFC, K-1 Heroes, etc.
Fedor going to strikeforce is like GSP, Anderson Silva, Machida, etc. going to strikeforce
Why would the UFC agree with M-1 or anybody being partners for one fighter? That's insane. With all the bad stuff I've heard about Dana White over the years I'm actually on his side about this.

Depends on the contact. Is this a permanent partnership, or for certain bouts? Is it for 50%, or 0.05%? Too little information for my taste. It isn't as though Fedor hasn't fought for several promotions. Why is the UFC the exception? I think I know the answer to that. The UFC likes its contracts to heavily favor the promotion, even at the expense of the fighters.

M-1 Global has 3 more fights contracted with Fedor.. Sooo those 3 fights will happen under M-1 globals demands.. To say that Fedor has signed with Strikeforce is wrong. M-1 global has signed a contract for Fedor to fight in strikeforce... Until fedor has done 3 more fights for m-1 global he wont be going any place where m-1 global isnt allowed to co-promote.. Dana White said that they tried to sign fedor. They gave him silly amounts of money - the only thing they couldnt accept was M-1 globals terms of co promotion.. Im sorry but we will never see fedor in UFC. UFC will never accept M-1 globals terms and M-1 global is led bye som shady people in Russia. Fedor will probably sign a new contract with m-1 and why shouldnt he. Hes making good money - he is safe.. M-1 global will never let go of feder as it is him that leys the golden eggs for m-1
Alistair Overeem is the Strikeforce HW champion but he hasnt fought in strikeforce since 2007.. I would certainly watch a Fedor - Overeem match.. And yes I think overeem could pose some interesting threat to Fedor.. Although its unlikely to see overeem in the US again - he has roided way to much lately and will probably miss a drug test in US..he will stick to japan where they dont test as much.

During his pride years fedor was a ronin signing fight for fight contracts.. After the UFC bought pride - they couldnt just take over Fedors contract. The first contract that the UFC offered Fedor was crap.. He then decided to sign a multi fight contract with m-1 global .. M-1 global then co promoted with affliction 3 bouts - Sylvia - Arlovski - Barnett (cancelled due to roiding on barnetts behalf).. Since the barnett match got cancelled Fedor still got 3 more fights with m-1 global to honor... Fedor has stated he is happy being signed with m-1 so we will have to wait 3 more fights then see what happens. IF the UFC would have been smart they would have signed the deal with m-1 and let them Co-promote events in Russia - the ufc gonna need some connections if they ever truly is gonna go global with their promotion.. Also co promoting would give m-1 global a TON of money compared to just selling out their 3 fight contract with fedor.. So its a lockdown really. UFC wont co-promote. M-1 global doesnt let fedor fight for any that dont allow co-promote.

The UFC has thrown events in Brazil, Canada, England, and Japan. They are planning more expansion to other countries as I type this, too.
M-1 wanted the UFC to build a stadium somewhere in Russia because one of the managers of M-1 has a brother that's a rock band promoter. (This was the first deal and they wanted Fedor's contract to still allow him to compete in combat sambo tournaments)
If I was in charge of the UFC there is no way I would let another promotion co promote with me because take a look at the other pure M-1 cards. They're nothing! I was at a M-1 card a little over a year ago near Seattle and the only fighters I ever heard of on the card were local fighters near Seattle, WA.
M-1 by itself is nothing and should not get some of the profits that the UFC has worked for. Like the UFCs business tactics or not they earned them. M-1 hasn't.
Fedor also has ownership in M-1!!!!

I have read 50% for whatever event they are co-promoting for. This is why they can't sign Fedor...who in their right mind would do such a thing?
