In addition to the exisiting World Hokutoki, Daidojuku will introduce the "Kudo World Cup" in 2011 which is scheduled to be held every four years. While World Hokutoki will always be held in Japan, the World Cup will be hosted by different Kudo Renmei. Russia is a top contender as a hosting city for the 1st World Cup. Same as the World Hokutoki, the newly introduced World Cup will be held by different physical index classes. Selection tournaments are expected to be held to choose fighters to represent differnet regions. Top fighters in the World Cup will secure automatically their rights to take part in the World Hokutoki.
