I'm quoting fro the results page here:

"Prior to 1995 there were two editions of the Regional per year, one held in Wales and the other in England."

The one that Bloke mentions with S. Schiff Winning in 1994 was in England.

When you're able to beat some of the best stand up fighters in the world I don't care what Dan rank you are...you obviously are doing something right so I won't question you rank
Osu!

I was there too, went out in the first round to Rick McElroy, who as it happens was one of my Instructors back then, great luck eh?

He then went on to take 2nd place I think? lost to a Russian fighter?

Was that not the BKK Open (not the regional in Wales) in 1993 and he came second to Felix Ntumazah?

he came second to Felix one year, I thought '92? and 2nd in the regional at llantrisant either the following year or the year after that, he got stunned with a knee to the chin at the regional, mind you my memory for years is crap
the main reason I remember the welsh tournament (but not the year) was that he stayed at my house the night before (I lived in wales then) and then i ended up fighting him in the first fight.

from what i hear Shihan Felix won by default in 1993 in the final as Rick could not continue from the semi final as was injured . I think... ...not taking anything away from Shihan Felix though.

Michael Thompson compound fractured Rick (Shihan Rick, I suppose as he taught me a few times) nose at a British Open 1989 i think also.

Back on topic Shihan Felix Ntumazah has beaten Semi Schilt 3 times in the past, Dont know when or where.
