Unfortunately, yes, Fred. Long story short...she almost dated my current love interest in the distant past. The weird thing is she was never interested in him, and just kind of strung him along for years. Now that we're an item, I think he seems much more interesting to her now. I guess the grass looks greener now, or something like that. Anyway, she has told both of us that she's not interested in him anymore, but her actions and pettiness betray and portray her true feelings. Anyway, I'm hoping she will become employed and move far far away before she becomes more of a problem. It's gotten pretty out of hand.
Thanks, Hangtime.

It's just a bit of drama.

I´m sure there are a lot of folks who, like me, can´t wait to read your latest updates! I really admire you and it´s such a big inspiration to see how you, in spite of all the things that have happened in your life lately, just keep on moving forward and refuse to give up!
I wish all the best for you, and I wish that I can have the same spirit as you have.
As for the Lurker - everyone who know you, probably also know that she´s just talking a lot of BS, and it´s not worth paying attention to, or getting upset over. One day you might be facing her in a tournament, and you can show her who´s serious...

Thanks, Gary! I liked your original post before the edit. I already sparred her in a quite vigorous fashion once in the past. In fact, I've never hit anyone that hard in my life. I try to temper myself now when I end up sparring her because I was going too hard. She's the one who punched me in the face when we were practicing point sparring a few weeks back.
Anyway, she doesn't make me feel inferior. I refuse to give my consent to ANYONE to make me feel inferior. That's the nice thing about knowing and understanding myself so well. I like me. I just do. I know I have a good heart, and I know I'm resilient. I enjoy being who I am and my own company. When you feel that way about yourself, it is easy to put petty people in perspective. Like you always say, Gary: TNS (Take No Poopy)!
It is so nice to meet you, PO791! Thanks for reading my journal and writing to me! It is nice to have a friend in Sweden. I'm sure you already do have the same spirit I have. It's inside all of us; some of us just cover it up with a bunch of nonsense. It's there; just tap into it. I hope you'll keep in touch, PO791. Welcome to K4L!

Been there, done that, MilkManx.
I just posted the pictures my 7 year old daughter took of the moment she was saying all that stuff on facebook. It is pretty funny to see the look on my face.
Then after Sensei comes up and starts reading all the nice stuff, I have the biggest smile on my face.

congratulations on the grading DD
About the jealousy issues, put more then one woman in a room and sooner or later bs like that starts. Had the same problem myself at my dojo, but reading about your situation I'm glad my situation wasn't with a high ranked woman.
Just keep on training hard and show that you won't leave because of her behaviour. In time she'll get it and stop. Or if her behaviour gets out of control somebody will probably have a talk with her to tell her that her behaviour isn't appropriate.
See the jealousy thing as a compliment. You're a strong woman, you can handle this situation

I admit it, this is one of those behaviors I don't understand. I see it, but I don't understand it. Many women recognize it, but it remains.

I won't let her behavior chase me away. Thanks, Minas. If she keeps it up I will have a talk with her myself because at this point in my life, I don't take shi# from anyone. That might sound bad, but it's true. I've taken a lot of crap in my life, and I refuse to any longer. After I punched that waterfall last winter, something inside of me changed. I decided I was strong and would not be abused by anyone ever again--that included husbands and rogue black belts alike. So she either knocks it off, or I will tell her forcefully that she better not continue to treat me with disrespect. And I will mean it. Whether or not the powers that be speak to her is up to them. But at this point, I'm pretty much done putting up with it. It will be to her detriment to continue mistreating me.
Dent, women are hard to understand. This is true. My least favorite type of woman is the kind that sees a wedding ring on a man's hand and suddenly finds him attractive...What's up with that?!

I taught my Interval Training class, and I was really impressed by the women in my class. One is skinnier each time she comes to class, and she gets stronger and stronger every week. The other one NEVER tries the burpees even though there are 2 burpee stations: one regular burpees for one minute and one is burpees with a bender ball between your legs for one minute. but today she did about 7 burpees before giving up and walking in place instead. I was proud....babysteps.
Dojo/Night:
Before class I practiced Kihon Kata & Kihon Kata Shodan Nunchuks & Seisan once each. Then I attempted to practice Kihon Kata Heinous Part2 (my musical kata) about 10 times. It was just as the name implies: HEINOUS! Hopefully it will improve in the next month & a half!

Rank Promotions:
I got to see Sandgirl turn into an 8th Kyu. It was awesome! And DT turned into a 1st Kyu! Woohoo! I was so proud!
Warm up with B-San the Great
Kihon with B-San the Great
Combos with B-San the Great
Ni-Ju-Shichi No Kata with B-San the Great & Sandman & Mr. E

Beyond my pay grade, DharmaDesigns. I'm still wondering why women ask men questions if they don't want an honest answer?!
Oh, and just for fun!
