Asian Cup

Hi All,

Our Ashihara Karate branch in India headed by Chandpasha Tamboli will be hosting an Indian National Champs Asian Cup in September. I will be conducting seminars and Dan testing during that time.

More details as it unfolds.

See the poster ...

We will also be launching the World Full Contact Karate Federation at that time. This is new friendship Federation that we are starting ...
(World Full-contact Karate Federation WFKF is Sports Federation for traditional full contact karate players / officials /coaches / styles / federations / organizations to unite on common rules and regulation for world / continental / national championships seminars and get recognition from sports governing community worldwide for benefit to the athletes / coaches / officials / styles / organisations etc.)

Thanks - a lot of people that saw it on Facebook either wrote to me or called asking whether I had seen the "funny" picture. Afterwards I had to tell them that we did it ...

PS. The event has been postponed by one week.

Thank you - you right - karate in India is big! India is our biggest membership base and we possibly have about 40 000 members. I've just been fortunate that Shihan Dadi Bulsara was the founder of Kyokushin there and with him moving to Ashihara Karate, he had the base.

In 1979, I was told he had already registered something like 10 000 members to the IKO. Most of the current heads of the various Kyokushin functions were at one stage his students.
