Another earthquake hits Iran’s East Azarbaijan Province

Osu,

Not sure if we have any members on this forum from Iran, but just wishing them well.

TEHRAN – Another earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck the northwestern Iranian province of East Azarbaijan at 6:32 p.m. local time on Tuesday.

The earthquake caused panic among the people in the city of Tabriz.

Two strong earthquakes rocked the cities of Ahar and Varzaqan in East Azarbaijan Province on Saturday, killing at least 306 people and injuring over 2000.

This made me read up on Wiki ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...quakes_in_Iran They have had some major ones nearly every year ...

OSU Hoosain, thanks for posting this. While I have no ties whatsoever to Iran, I have many friends and colleagues with Iranian roots. Hope that none of their relatives and friends came to harm. And since we just recently wrote something about religious things, something like this always makes me wonder "Why?"... But that's something for an entirely different platform to discuss, I guess...

OSU, and a very happy remainder of Ramadan to you and your loved ones.

You welcome. I have a couple of friends, but most of them are in Tehran. You right - one wonders why and what the "master plan" is from the Almighty. Thanks - a few more days to go and tomorrow possible being Laylatul Qadr so just plugging at it.
