Is Owaza important in Kyokushin?

Some examples of Owaza (big techniques) in Kyokushin are domawashi kaiten geri, tobi ushiro mawashi geri, tobi ushiro geri or kakato otoshi. There are many fights in which we see no owaza from beginning till the end. And there are also fights which end with owaza or in which owaza plays an important role in deciding the winner.

As a fighter/instructor/spectator, do you think owaza is important in Kyokushin Kumite? And what is your own favorite owaza (if you do owaza)?

OSU!
