I suspect my instructor, Shihan Padron, would be more than happy to have you stop buy his Kyokushin dojo or Kudo club in Columbus, OH.
You are also more than welcome to stop at my club in Miamisburg, OH as long as you don't mind training in a converted garage.

to me, as long as you are training hard, no matter where you are it is a dojo so Osu, thank you.
at the moment i am trying to work out a schedule of travel between each state, so how far it is to drive etc. i am currently thinking of doing two weeks in California, maybe one around Eureka and one in San Diego. mainly because it is such a huge state and there is so much to see, but also i really want to be in San Diego for comic con! ( sorry, tiny geek out there.)
thak=nk you to everyone so far and i will keep you up to date with the plans

Hi everyone, just a quick update. i have found a martial art to study in every state and i have a mixture of Kyokushin, Kung Fu, Kali and others. however, i would really love to track down the Kyokushin school in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mainly as i thought this would be a perfect ending to it. so if anyone knows if they have a website? Next step is to start piecing together a pitch to send off.

Osu starbuck!
Perhaps tap in the late Bobby Lowe and see who is taking Hawaain Kyokushin forward now that he has passed?

Osu!
a small update for now. i have made a rough plan of what i want to study in each state, and i am now going to start putting together the pitch that i can send of to companies. My goal is to try and get this out of the way by Christmas at the earliest, but with dissertation looming i'm not going to force it. once i have my plans settled as much as possible, i will start to contact each of the dojos i have selected to see if i would be able to train with them.

Wishing you well - it can be a fantastic journey and already you have so many that invited you - and I am sure that as you go along, you will get even more invites.

osu! i apologise for being away so long. since starting my last year of university, things have been a bit crazy. the pitch is written, just putting together an appendix of hotels in each state and the prices, so that i can say to they i have thought of everything. should be sending it off soon. i have the addresses of some companies i think would be interested. so i will let you know when it is sent! thank you all for your help and kind words, i would not have started this without you.

If you haven't found a dojo in Oregon yet, I'm sure my Shihan would be happy to have you train with us for a few days. You would also have a unique opportunity to train some Hakkoryu.
