I'm thinking about going to this. My Instructor is going and asked me if I was interested. It would be my first tournament so I'm a little hesitant. Even if I lose my first match I should get to watch some really good fights.

Flights and accommodations aren't too expensive, so I might do it. If I don't go to the Vancouver Cup, I'll definitely do the Calgary Cup in March. Well, I'll do the Calgary Cup either way.

I've never been to the Vancouver Cup but I hear it's definitely worth going.

If you don't end up going there's Calgary Cup in early March, our own Alberta Open in late March, Canadians in May (Burnaby).

Alberta Open and Canadians will have belt divisions as well.

I need to make it out to the dojo one of these days...
