OK, let us know. Yesterday I was like "Ah, damn, forget about this high mailing costs, just buy one!", and so I did. It's probably going to take ages until it arrives here, but hey, who cares. Looks like a good gi, can't wait to get it.
Oh, and a friend of mine who does Kyokushin goes to Japan next week and promised to get me an ISAMI gi. Looking forward to that also!

I have no personal or business relationship with E.bogu.
Years ago I've ordered some bokkens for Itto ryu, and I was really satisfied by the overall quality and price, so I was really curious to try their new full contact uniform.
I've ordered a couple of dogis, one with "Kyokushinkai" kanj and the other with "Shin Budo" kanji, the emblem of my dojo and association.
The emblem on the chest was embroieded, while the dojo's logo was printed on the left sleeve.
I am 190 cm. and 105 kg., so I ordered a size 6.
The dogi is great, very comfortable, and , for the first time in my life, no need of adjustement for the sleeves, usually too long.
I've tested a lot of brand in the last years: Isami, Ronin, Tokyodo, Budoshop, Body Sport, Budopest, Sora shop, Danhro, Kwon, Shureido, and E-bogu is really one of the best.
I am very satisfied for purchasing this model.

So I just trained two times in my new E.bogu full contact gi. First off, customer service is excellent, I got contacted by the German branch and so was able to save the shipping costs from the USA.
Now, concerning the gi itself. It certainly looks very much like full contact karate. I ordered the size 190. The jacket itself is comfortable and fits well. The pants, however, were far too long. I had to tie the pants about 20cm above my navel which is really strange, and still the ends were on the floor. After having washed them at 40°C and put them into the tumble dryer, they shrank significantly. They are still too long, but now I can at least wear them without getting my toes tangled.
Concerning the quality, I am a bit unsure about what to think. I have got several other 12oz dogis (Kwon, Danrho) that are roughly in the same price range, and the E.bogu gi feels differently, somewhat lighter. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but I am under the impression that the E.bogu gi is of lesser quality. The material of the other dogis is tougher, that much I can tell for sure. Of course only time will tell if the E.bogu gi will last as long as my other dogis, but I fear that I will need a replacement for this dogi rather soon.
Summing up, I am not too happy about this dogi and would not buy it again.

I purchased this dogi yesterday and am expecting it to be delivered this Saturday. Once I have a change to workout in it a couple times, I will right a review of my own.

I like mine. Just wish I had gotten one size bigger. The top is a little short for me.

I have had one for some time.
I find it to be the best bang for your buck if you are in the USA.
ISAMI style without ISAMI price. Top is made really well and pants are super baggy.
I got a 6 and it was very very big. Like an ISAMI 7.5
Had to trim the pants.

Okay, I've been wearing this Gi for a good while now and I feel like I have enough experience now to write an informed review.
This Gi is very well made. It held up in knockdown and grappling training. The pants are my favorite part. They are baggy and allow free movement. I'm also a big fan of the traditional pull ties instead of the elastic waistband.
The only real complaint I have is the top seems to be designed to want to come open. The way the shoulders were stichted together enourage the gi to open anytime you lift your hands over your head. This is not so much of a problem during normal training and fighting, but it is annoying during exercises such as jumping jacks.
All in all, I'd say this is a very good gi for an excellent price and would encourage others to buy it.
I would have loved to train in this gi for the next several years except my wife "accidentally" dried it in the clothes dryer on normal two weeks ago and shrank it by a couple of inches. The end result is she got a new gi since it fits her almost perfectly now and I go back to using the old workhorse double weave judo gi I've been wearing for the last 10 years.

Don't you hate it when they're smarter than we are?
