Osu from Spain!
Hello everyone!
For the first time in my life I've begun teaching karate, so I've come this site to learn different training methods that I can share with my students. And, maybe, I could also be of some help to the other members.
Thanks for reading this.

Osu,
Welcome from South Africa. Are you practising Kyokushin or a related style? You are involved with WUKO? Associated with Julio Hernaez? Have you been practising long?
PS. Lots of continuous learning happening here so you are at the right place

Hi there!
I'm a 2nd degree black belt in Kyokushin Karate. I began my training under Shihan Gabriel Barluenga (now in IKO 3) in 1985, when I was 8 years old, and continued under late Shihan Ángel M. Duato. Nowadays I keep training in his family dojo (now associated with WUKO) and just started teaching karate in another one.

Osu!
Welcome from the USA! I am sure you'll find plenty of information here. Be sure to use the "search" function as there's probably answers to plenty of your questions on here already, and if you don't find what you are looking for, don't hesitate to start a new thread and ask

Thanks for the feedback. You have been training for some time then. I've seen that there are a few Kyokushin groups, especially in Spain involved with WUKO.
A colleague is hosting one of their World Championships in South Africa next year and should your group be participating, then perhaps we will meet.

Hi! Another guy from the 80's!
Me and my wife have been renting houses in Spain (Alicante area) during the summer for several years. Just let me say this to everyone: Spain has the best food in the world. Period.
