To Hustle

Osu!

Just read this article a few minutes ago: http://artofmanliness.com/2010/02/08...se-who-hustle/

This article isn't just for "manliness" but for all of us and to me is the spirit of Osu! This applies to everything in life. I don't know, but this seemed to be something I could personally relate to and I'm sure most of you can and if not will be able to soon. Some people are naturally gifted at whatever (scholastics, athletics, etc.) but most of us have to "keep on keepin' on" and never give up.

“Things may come to those who wait…but only the things left by those who hustle.” - Abraham Lincoln

I’m talking about the work-your-ass-off-while-your-competition-plays-Rock Band kind of hustling. Hustling=doing whatever you have to do, for however long as you have to do it, until you reach your goal.
This bears repeating:
Hustling = doing whatever you have to do, for however long as you have to do it, until you reach your goal.
Quote:
The World Needs Men Who Hustle: Things are pretty rough right now. We’re facing some big problems that are going to take a lot of work to solve. We need men to step up and be leaders in our communities and families. We need more entrepreneurs to start small businesses and employees who bust butt to help get our economy going again. We need men who hustle.

Great article from a great blog, I just subscribed - thanks powerofone!

normally you don't like prisoners to organize... but there's always exceptions.

Thanks for the article Power o' 1. Most of us invloved in Kyoukushin I think
already have demonstrated "hustle". You don't train knockdown or full-contact, without some sort of stick tuitiveness or hustle.

Most people aren't blessed with extra talent. You have to get off yer arce
an "git-R-done"

The only tweek, it seemed to leave out mention of women. They gotta do it too!

Its funny but right before I read that earlier yesterday I was thinking about it. I think about Karateka who have been tournament champions or founders of their own styles. It was all about the hard work. As Obi Wan in Star Wars A New Hope says "There is no luck"
